TIRHATUAN PARK

Public BBQ

Nestled in suburbia near Kriegel Way, the park offers a serene escape with its bushland, river, large open areas, and lakes. It's well maintained, featuring numerous paths and walking routes, as well as a long bike trail that connects to the larger Dandenong Creek trail. The park provides ample facilities like a carpark, toilets, bins, and shelters. It's also a haven for dog lovers, boasting two off-leash areas, one each for smaller and larger breeds, with an agility course and dog enclosures for added convenience. Children can enjoy a large playground, and the park is also an ideal spot for family gatherings with seating, picnic tables, and a relaxed atmosphere. The park's facilities extend to exercise stations and outdoor exercise equipment, while the wetlands and native feature gardens offer beautiful spots to unwind. Despite limited water taps and occasional parking issues, the park remains a favorite for locals and visitors alike.
